Experience and enjoy a day of expedition down to South. Visit 17th Century stone Churches, crocolandia park, american landing monument, town plazas, well preserved houses. Final stop is Carcar town, alive in a blend of Spanish architecture in heritage homes or churches, and local artistry in crafts like shoemaking. basket and delicacy cooking.. Also taste its delicious native delicacies like ampao, boucarillo and the most famous pork chicharon.
Crocolandia
Crocolandia, a park that showcases rare animals they have cared for over the years. It all started with a family’s love for animal and nature conservation. But the passion grew into a one hectare conservation center which is now home to 60 species of animals.
True to its name the park has almost 24 crocodiles and alligators including its main attraction, the 52-year-old crocodile named Lapu-Lapu which is one of the park’s oldest inhabitants that has grown up to15 feet. But there is more to this destination than these aquatic reptiles. Almost 50 percent of their animals are birds ranging from endangered hornbills and cockatoos to Philippine owls. Others are the snakes, deer, ostrich and so much more.

American Landing Monument
(Brgy. Poblacion, Talisay City) - During both the American colonial period and World War II, Talisay served as a haven of colonial military forces. The municipality served as the center of guerrilla intelligence operations for the Philippine residence movement in Cebu during World War II.
Returning American forces landed on the beaches of Talisay on March 28, 1945, an event that marked the eventual surrender of Japanese forces on Cebu. That day is now an official holiday in the province of Cebu...

Tuba Making ( Filipino Wine Making)
Tuba, (coconut wine), is an alcoholic drink made in the Phiippines from the sap of a nipa palm tree. It can also be distilled into a potent liquor known as Lambanog. A prolific tree sends out a flowering stem that can yield as much as a liter or two of tuba per day.
The gathered tuba is placed in heavy duty plastic containers (the kind used for gas or kerosene) and either sold as tuba for a few days after gathering or eventually turned into coconut vinegar. Some folks use this new tuba in their kinilaw, to just flavor the dish, not cook it with a very high level of acidity that most vinegars possess. Tuba is sometimes referred to as bago (a day or so old) and bahal or bahalina for a couple of days old, it starts to naturally ferment into vinegar as it ages further…

Carabao Sleigh Ride
You can ride directly on a carabao’s back or on the carriage it pulls. Either way, it is an experience you won’t likely forget, as you witness the sheer strength of the country’s national animal. At the finish line, the carabao kneel and receive another blessing.
In the Philippines, the carabao is central to play as well as work. Every May 15, for example, a carabao festival is held in the town of San Isidro. Farmers groom and dress their carabaos, bring them for a blessing to the church, and parade them through town. Although the animals are not particularly noted for their speed, the festival culminates with a carabao race across the fields.
Tricycle Ride
This three-wheeled vehicle takes a person almost anywhere he wants to go to. Prohibited in major roads, trikes are always sporting a certain color, to show which group they belong to, and to indicate the route they are allowed to take. This ride can take about 4 people.
The tricycle side cars are originally made from the scraps used to make jeepneys after World War II. Like jeepneys, these vehicles are also well-decorated with ornaments and sometimes have built-in stereo which give pride to its owner/driver. Tricycles are motorcycles with side cars bigger than the pedicab, which has the legal capacity of 5 passengers including the driver.

Basket Weaving
Cebuano folk art includes basketry. Basketry was developed by the inter island trade which regularly demanded cargo containers. The island's furniture industry is related to this art. Chairs of rattan and buri ribs are fashioned using basket-weaving techniques.

Carcar Museum
The puericulture which has been transformed into a museum is a beautiful monument of the American era, if there is one thing that we could really be grateful for with the Gringo’s is that they brought cure to the disease’s of 19th century Philippines.
The cholera for example was ended in Manila and in the countryside, there was these successful medical system. The Puericulture is a clinic for the women and child, and this one in Carcar is not just another standard clinic but the manner of its construction just only shows again that Carcaranon’s built differently. They still refer to their day care centres here as Puericulture...

Balay Na Tisa Of Carcar
Built in 1859, one of the remaining few well preserved, of its kind, left in Cebu. The first floor of the house was built with a stone floor. The second floor is where the family lived and is still filled with four generations of beautifully preserved family heirlooms & antique furniture....

Carcar Shoe Expo
The town of Carcar is also well known for the beautiful and fine quality shoes and sandals they produce. You can even go there and have a customized pair of shoe for you at prices a lot cheaper than getting them in the city...
